Meet Michele!

Co-Founder / Technical Director

Michele is the Co-Founder and Technical Director of The 845 Dance Collective, bringing her passion for dance, education, and dancer development to the studio. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Pace University, giving her a unique perspective on confidence, motivation, child development, and the importance of creating a positive environment for dancers of all ages. Michele has experience choreographing for competitive-level teams and has earned recognition and choreography awards for her work. She has taught dancers across a wide range of ages and abilities, from introductory baby dance classes to advanced competitive training. She especially enjoys working with young dancers and creating positive first experiences in the dance world, helping students develop confidence, coordination, musicality, and a genuine love for movement. Her approach to teaching focuses on building strong technical foundations while encouraging each dancer to grow at their own pace and embrace their individuality. Michele believes that dance can have a lasting impact far beyond the studio, helping young people develop discipline, self-confidence, creativity, and meaningful connections. Through The 845 Dance Collective, she is passionate about creating a welcoming and supportive environment where every dancer feels seen, encouraged, and inspired to reach their fullest potential.

Her choreography combines strong technique, musicality, storytelling, and creative movement to help dancers develop both as performers and artists. Natalie is also certified in Pilates and Athletic Training, allowing her to incorporate a strong focus on conditioning, strength, flexibility, injury prevention, and overall physical wellness into her approach to dance training. She believes that developing a strong and healthy dancer goes beyond technique and choreography, and that proper training helps dancers perform with confidence and longevity. Natalie is passionate about helping dancers discover their individual strengths, push beyond their comfort zones, and become confident, well-rounded performers. Our Story

The 845 Dance Collective was created by sisters Natalie and Michele with a shared love for dance and a vision to create a space where dancers feel safe to express themselves, encouraged to grow, and inspired to connect. Built on years of experience as dancers, teachers, choreographers, and students of the art, 845 was designed to be more than just a place to take dance classes—it is a community where dancers can feel confident, connected, and at home.

At 845, we believe every dancer deserves the opportunity to develop strong technique while also discovering their own individuality. Our goal is to provide high-quality training in a positive, encouraging, and welcoming environment where dancers of all ages and experience levels can feel confident challenging themselves and reaching their potential. We value both the artistry and athleticism of dance, emphasizing technique, strength, flexibility, musicality, performance quality, and overall dancer development.

As sisters and co-founders, Natalie and Michele bring different strengths and experiences to 845 while sharing the same passion for helping dancers succeed. From nurturing a young dancer’s very first steps to preparing competitive dancers for the next level, 845 is committed to meeting each dancer where they are and helping them grow from there. We believe that the lessons learned through dance—discipline, confidence, perseverance, creativity, teamwork, and self-expression—extend far beyond the studio.

Most importantly, 845 was created to be a place where dancers feel seen, supported, and inspired. We want our students to leave every class feeling stronger, more confident, and excited to continue their journey. Whether a dancer is taking their first class, training competitively, or simply dancing because they love it, there is a place for them here. The 845 Dance Collective is more than a studio—it is a community rooted in passion, growth, and the joy of dance.
